Blogging for Traffic
How Blogging Can Bring More Traffic To Your Website
Introduction
There has been a report recently that many of the bloggers have been good
sources of influence and have attained some amount of prominent status in the
Internet world. And this is true because many people would want to read writing
that is more personal, more highly-charged, very democratic, and very free-
flowing. The advent also of the RSS Feed contributed to the rise to popularity
of bloggers and their blogging.
Very Important For Website Owners
Blogging is thus very important for website owners. Because if blogs get a lot
of visibility and a lot of traffic, then if a blogger will be blogging about his
website and make a lot of links to his webpages (especially his domain page),
then for certain his blogging will definitely bring more traffic to his website.
In my own experience, after checking WebLog Expert Lite - a reader and analyzer
of access logs - I discovered that many of my referral URLs to my website are
those URLs of my blogs. All the blogging that I have been doing and all the
links that I have been placing in my blogs have pointed and directed a lot of
traffic to my website. If you have one blog that you keep regularly and update
often, then each blog post that you make that points to your website will surely
harvest traffic and bring visitors to your website. And if it is just one blog,
imagine if you have a network of blogs! Blogging in this way will bring also a
"network" of traffic. To give you an idea of my blogging and how I produced a
a network of my blogs, you can go to Blogs. Also, if you examine individually
each of my blogs, you will find that my main blogs are interlinked with one
another. Thus, visitors go from blog to blog and in this way every post in the
blog that leads to one of your webpages will definitely harvest and catch
traffic for your website.
Blogging is Easy
Blogging is easy because on my part I make it very informal. The style I
recently am following in my blogs is in a very informal conversational type
of writing. It is only in articles like this that I make my writing more
formal. But as regards to blogging, you can make it as informal as you can
but within the bounds of ethical internet language. There are many blog hosts
out there, but the more popular one I use is Blogger. If you already
are building a website, then why not start a blog that is in tandem with your
website. And when you start blogging, always remember to use the very exact
title of your webpages when making your anchor links. The SEO professionals
say that this is also important in getting ranked high and attaining visibility in
the leading search engines. Also, the SEO professionals say that you continue
to use a lot of the keywords and keyphrases that you also used for optimizing
your website. This is so because many of the blog posts are also getting indexed
in the search engines. So when blogging, remember what your SEO teacher and
professor told you. Follow their instruction and you will get the traffic and
the rank you want to achieve.
Can Blogging Improve Your PageRank
What I know of as of now is that blog sites also get a PageRank rating. Thus,
if your blog has achieved already a certain PageRank rating, then use of this
blog to refer to your webpage or your domain page will surely enhance the
PageRank of your domain page. Google tells us through their website information
on PageRank that what adds to the quality of your PageRank are the inbound links
that lead to your webpages. Thus if your incoming and inbound links from your
blogging lead to your webpage and domain page and your blog website has
achieved a good PageRank, then for sure it will contribute to the enhancement
of your PageRank rating. The idea thus is to keep blogging, keep posting, keep
networking through reciprocal linking and exchanging links, keep getting listed in
directories that can categorize your website, and keep producing webpages which
are highly optimized for the search engines. There are many factors that go
into PageRank but one thing is for sure, if you produce many blog posts and many
webpages of articles that are highly optimized for the search engines, then you
will surely reap the rewards of all the hard work and honest-to-goodness writing
toil that keeps you up even up to midnight. We have to always remember that
hard work always pays off in time. Even if we feel like giving up at certain
times of our work in the Internet, we must not stop and give up. We must keep
blogging, blogging, blogging and blogging. But sensibly too. Otherwise you
won't get a readership and a subscription to your blog. If I were a composer
I would have written a song, "Never Stop Blogging". Or I could create a motto,
like "Blogging For Life". It really depends on us. And it depends on to whom
we owe much of our success in life - to Someone whom we have given our faith to
and who gives us and provides us with what is really good for us.
